Cursed is the deceitful man that hath in his flock a male, and making a vow offereth in sacrifice that which is feeble to the Lord: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the Gentiles.

For if the will be forward, it is accepted according to that which a man hath, not according to that which he hath not.

If you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if you offer the lame and the sick, is it not evil? offer it to thy prince, if he will be pleased with it, or if he will regard thy face, saith the Lord of hosts.

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come, and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest.

For our God is a consuming fire.

Which in his times he shall shew who is the Blessed and only Mighty, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Cursed be he that doth the work of the Lord deceitfully: and cursed be he that withholdeth his sword from blood.

For thus saith the High and the Eminent that inhabiteth eternity. And his name is Holy, who dwelleth in the high and holy place and with a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite.

If thou wilt not keep, and fulfil all the words of this law, that are written in this volume, and fear his glorious and terrible name: that is, The Lord thy God.

The Lord shall be terrible upon them, and shall consume all the gods of the earth: and they shall adore him every man from his own place, all the islands of the Gentiles.

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is to you.

With the joy of the whole earth is mount Sion founded, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king.

With a vehement wind thou shalt break in pieces the ships of Tharsis.

For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more.
