The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord?

In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.

And all drank the same spiritual drink; (and they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.)

But other ships came in from Tiberias; nigh unto the place where they had eaten the bread, the Lord giving thanks.

And having taken the chalice, he gave thanks, and said: Take, and divide it among you:

I am black but beautiful, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Cedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all.

For Sina is a mountain in Arabia, which hath affinity to that Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

And he said to me: Son of man: All these bones are the house of Israel: they say: Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost, and we are cut off.

And taking the seven loaves and the fishes, and giving thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the people.

Thus saith the Lord God: This is Jerusalem. I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries round about her.
