No man lighteth a candle, and putteth it in a hidden place, nore under a bushel; but upon a candlestick, that they that come in, may see the light.

I am come a light into the world; that whosoever believeth in me, may not remain in darkness.

Jesus answered: Are there not twelve hours of the day? If a man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world:

That which I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light: and that which you hear in the ear, preach ye upon the housetops.
