And you shall dwell in bowers seven days. Every one that is of the race of Israel shall dwell in tabernacles:
But we have dwelt in tents and have been obedient according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
How beautiful are thy tabernacles, O Jacob, and thy tents, O Israel!
And lifting up his eyes, he saw Israel abiding in their tents by their tribes. And the spirit of God rushing upon him,
And Jacob came to Socoth: where having built a house, and pitched tents, he called the name of the place Socoth, that is, Tents.
For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.
Say to the children of Israel: From the fifteenth day of this same seventh month shall be kept the feast of tabernacles, seven days to the Lord.
And you shall keep the solemnity thereof seven days in the year. It shall be an everlasting ordinance in your generations. In the seventh month shall you celebrate this feast.
And I that am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, will yet cause thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the feast.
And I have spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and I have used similitudes by the ministry of the prophets.
