The priest shall take a handful of the flour that is tempered with oil, and all the frankincense that is put upon the flour: and he shall burn it on the altar for a memorial of most sweet odour to the Lord.

And he shall deliver it to the priest who shall take a handful thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar for a memorial of him that offered it:

And he, beholding him, being seized with fear, said: What is it, Lord? And he said to him: Thy prayers and thy alms are ascended for a memorial in the sight of God.

I spoke also to the Levites that they should be purified, and should come to keep the gates, and to sanctify the sabbath day. For this also remember me, O my God: and spare me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

Remember me, O my God, for this thing: and wipe not out my kindnesses, which I have done relating to the house of my God and his ceremonies.

But taking off all the fat, as is wont to be taken away of the victims of peace-offerings, he shall burn it upon the altar, for a sweet savour to the Lord: and he shall pray for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

And if his hand be not able to offer two turtles, or two young pigeons, he shall offer for his sin the tenth part of an ephi of flour. He shall not put oil upon it, nor put any frankincense thereon, because it is for sin.
