And almost all things, according to the law, are cleansed with blood: and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Even as the Son of man is not come to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a redemption for many.

After these things are duly celebrated, he shall offer the calf: and praying for himself and for his own house, he shall immolate it:

And he shall immolate the calf before the Lord: and the priests the sons of Aaron shall offer the blood thereof, pouring it round about the altar, which is before the door of the tabernacle.

Therefore I have said to the children of Israel: No soul of you, nor of the strangers that sojourn among you, shall eat blood.

The priest shall dip his finger in the blood of the victim for sin, touching therewith the horns of the altar of holocaust, and pouring out the rest at the foot thereof.

But the fat he shall burn upon it, as is wont to be done with the victims of peace-offerings. And the priest shall pray for him, and for his sin: and it shall be forgiven him.

Only beware of this, that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is for the soul. And therefore thou must not eat the soul with the flesh:
