Daleth. He is become to me as a bear lying in wait: as a lion in secret places.
In their affliction they will rise early to me: Come, and let us return to the Lord:
For I will be like a lioness to Ephraim, and like a lion's whelp to the house of Juda: I, I will catch, and go: I will take away, and there is none that can rescue.
I hoped till morning: as a lion so hath he broken all my bones. From morning even to night thou wilt make an end of me.
And for pride thou wilt take me as a lioness, and returning thou tormentest me wonderfully.
And he made darkness his covert, his pavilion round about him: dark waters in the clouds of the air.
Ghimel. He hath shut up my ways with square stones: he hath turned my paths upside down.
Daleth. He hath turned aside my paths and hath broken me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
