And a while after, when the days of the wheat harvest were at hand, Samson came, meaning to visit his wife, and he brought her a kid of the flock. And when he would have gone into her chamber as usual, her father would not suffer him, saying:

If any man commit adultery with the wife of another, and defile his neighbour's wife: let them: be put to death, both the adulterer and the adulteress.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: but reprove him openly, lest thou incur sin through him.

And she left him and returned to her father's house in Bethlehem, and abode with him four months.

And embraced the man. And the son-in-law tarried in the house of his father-in-law three days, eating with him and drinking familiarly.

But the woman, at the dawning of the day, came to the door of the house where her lord lodged, and there fell down.

And it shall be in that day, saith the Lord, That she shall call me: My husband, and she shall call me no more Baali.
