In those days there was no king in Israel, and the tribe of Dan sought them an inheritance to dwell in: for unto that day they had not received their lot among the other tribes.

And Saul had a concubine named Respha, the daughter of Aia. And Isboseth said to Abner:

There was at that time a man of mount Ephraim whose name was Michas.

So Rachel died, and was buried in the highway that leadeth to Ephrata. This is Bethlehem.

And to the children of the concubines he gave gifts, and separated them from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, to the east country.

And his concubine, named Roma, bore Tabee, and Gaham, and Tahas, and Maacha.

There was also another young man of Bethlehem Juda, of the kindred thereof: and he was a Levite, and dwelt there.

And she left him and returned to her father's house in Bethlehem, and abode with him four months.

And, behold, they saw an old man, returning out of the field and from his work in the evening; and he also was of mount Ephraim, and dwelt as a stranger in Gabaa. But the men of that country were the children of Jemini.

And forthwith he sounded the trumpet in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him, he himself going in the front.

After him Abesan of Bethlehem judged Israel.

From thence they passed into mount Ephraim. And when they were come to the house of Michas,

And these are their names: Benhur, in mount Ephraim.
