For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him.

Afterwards, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and saith to him: Behold thou art made whole: sin no more, lest some worse thing happen to thee.

You judge according to the flesh: I judge not any man.

I say to you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven upon one sinner that doth penance, more than upon ninety-nine just who need not penance.

I came not to call the just, but sinners to penance.

He that hideth his sins, shall not prosper: but he that shall confess, and forsake them, shall obtain mercy.

Seeing then I have spoken of God, I will not hinder thee in thy turn.

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and patience, and longsuffering? Knowest thou not, that the benignity of God leadeth thee to penance?

No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.

So I say to you, there shall be joy before the angels of God upon one sinner doing penance.

Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.

But it was fit that we should make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is come to life again; he was lost, and is found.

No, I say to you; but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found: call upon him while he is near.

And thou shalt come to the priests of the Levitical race, and to the judge, that shall be at that time. And thou shalt ask of them. And they shall shew thee the truth of the judgment.

Thou shalt appoint judges and magistrates in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, in all thy tribes. That they may judge the people with just judgment,

And account the longsuffering of our Lord, salvation; as also our most dear brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, hath written to you:

For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not you judge them that are within?

The Son of man came not to destroy souls, but to save. And they went into another town.
