Mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.

Why do you spend money for that which is not bread and your labour for that which doth not satisfy you? Hearken diligently to me and eat that which is good: and your soul shall be delighted in fatness.

Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.

But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord.

And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day.

For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven.

Jesus of Nazareth: how God anointed him with the Holy Ghost, and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

All the labour of man is for his mouth, but his soul shall not be filled.

For all flesh is as grass; and all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen away.

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape, as a dove upon him; and a voice came from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Then Jesus said to the twelve: Will you also go away?

And if he came in to see me, he spoke vain things: his heart gathered together iniquity to itself. He went out and spoke to the same purpose.

The Lord hath said to me: Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau; who for one mess, sold his first birthright.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by charity.

Let us hasten therefore to enter into that rest; lest any man fall into the same example of unbelief.

Which all are unto destruction by the very use, according to the precepts and doctrines of men.

And if unto others I be not an apostle, but yet to you I am. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

Meat for the belly, and the belly for the meats; but God shall destroy both it and them: but the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the justice of the faith, which he had, being uncircumcised; that he might be the father of all them that believe, being uncircumcised, that unto them also it may be reputed to justice:

If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.

Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

And I knew that thou hearest me always; but because of the people who stand about have I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

I am one that give testimony of myself: and the Father that sent me giveth testimony of me.

And immediately looking about, they saw no man any more, but Jesus only with them.

And there came a voice from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.

And behold a voice from heaven, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

BEHOLD my servant: I will uphold him. My elect: my soul delighteth in him. I have given my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

For the sun rose with a burning heat, and parched the grass, and the flower thereof fell off, and the beauty of the shape thereof perished: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen, are temporal; but the things which are not seen, are eternal.

And Jesus saith to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air nests: but the son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Are not these things from the Lord of hosts? for the people shall labour in a great fire: and the nations in vain, and they shall faint.

Come, eat my bread, and drink the wine which I have mingled for you.

And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.

That whosoever believeth in him, may not perish; but may have life everlasting.

Amen, amen I say unto you: He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

But Jesus, knowing in himself, that his disciples murmured at this, said to them: Doth this scandalize you?

Nor is it beyond the sea: that thou mayst excuse thyself, and say: Which of us can cross the sea, and bring it unto us: that we may hear, and do that which is commanded?
