AND there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
And Nicodemus also came, (he who at the first came to Jesus by night,) bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
Jesus answered, and said to him: Art thou a master in Israel, and knowest not these things?
And Pilate, calling together the chief priests, and the magistrates, and the people,
And behold, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him. Have the rulers known for a truth, that this is the Christ?
