I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen. But that the scripture may be fulfilled: He that eateth bread with me, shall lift up his heel against me.

In the daytime the Lord hath commanded his mercy; and a canticle to him in the night. With me is prayer to the God of my life.

But he answering, said: He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, he shall betray me.

While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.

Who saith to them: One of the twelve, who dippeth with me his hand in the dish.

Jesus answered: He it is to whom I shall reach bread dipped. And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

And we have believed and have known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of God.

If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Neither is there any creature invisible in his sight: but all things are naked and open to his eyes, to whom our speech is.

You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

And as a man's enemies shall be they of his own household.

And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say,

He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.

For we preach not ourselves, but Jesus Christ our Lord; and ourselves your servants through Jesus.

And Ismahel the son of Nathanias arose, and the ten men that were with him, and they struck Godolias the son of Ahicam, the son of Saphan, with the sword, and slew him whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.

And whilst they were eating, he said: Amen I say to you, that one of you is about to betray me.

And when evening was come, he cometh with the twelve.

And when they were at table and eating, Jesus saith: Amen I say to you, one of you that eateth with me shall betray me.

But yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

When Jesus had said these things, he was troubled in spirit; and he testified, and said: Amen, amen I say to you, one of you shall betray me.

The disciples therefore looked one upon another, doubting of whom he spoke.

But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated me without cause.

That the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he said, signifying what death he should die.

They said then one to another: Let us not cut it, but let us cast lots for it, whose it shall be; that the scripture might be fulfilled, saying: They have parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture they have cast lot. And the soldiers indeed did these things.

For these things were done, that the scripture might be fulfilled: You shall not break a bone of him.

Until the day on which, giving commandments by the Holy Ghost to the apostles whom he had chosen, he was taken up.

Men, brethren, the scripture must needs be fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was the leader of them that apprehended Jesus:
