By this hath the charity of God appeared towards us, because God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we may live by him.

And evidently great is the mystery of godliness, which was manifested in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, appeared unto angels, hath been preached unto the Gentiles, is believed in the world, is taken up in glory.

IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law:

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed: and all flesh together shall see, that the mouth of the Lord hath spoken.

For many seducers are gone out into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: this is a seducer and an antichrist.

And he shall grow up as a tender plant before him, and as a root out of a thirsty ground. There is no beauty in him, nor comeliness: and we have seen him, and there was no sightliness, that we should be desirous of him:

And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God.

So Christ also did not glorify himself, that he might be made a high priest: but he that said unto him: Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith: Sacrifice and oblation thou wouldest not: but a body thou hast fitted to me:

Jesus saith to her: Did not I say to thee, that if thou believe, thou shalt see the glory of God?

For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee; and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

For to which of the angels hath he said at any time, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou, Shew us the Father?

But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep. And waking, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, as we also are one:

He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

For, this day, is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.

Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly.

For both he that sanctifieth, and they who are sanctified, are all of one. For which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying:

And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee; for power is made perfect in infirmity. Gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

To me, the least of all the saints, is given this grace, to preach among the Gentiles, the unsearchable riches of Christ,

Whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all things, God blessed for ever. Amen.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

This same God hath fulfilled to our children, raising up Jesus, as in the second psalm also is written: Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

All the nations thou hast made shall come and adore before thee, O Lord: and they shall glorify thy name.

And my tabernacle shall be with them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.

Pilate therefore said to him: Art thou a king then? Jesus answered: Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth, heareth my voice.

And he was clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood; and his name is called, THE WORD OF GOD.
