But he shall save the needy from the sword of their mouth, and the poor from the hand of the violent.
For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.
For there is no regard to their death, nor is there strength in their stripes.
The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the lioness, and the teeth of the whelps of lions are broken.
The tiger hath perished for want of prey: and the young lions are scattered abroad.
Thou shalt he hidden from the scourge of the tongue: and thou shalt not fear calamity when it cometh.
I broke the jaws of the wicked man: and out of his teeth I took away the prey.
So that they caused the cry of the needy to come to him. And he heard the voice of the poor.
Who maketh a man that is a hypocrite to reign for the sins of the people?
But he saveth not the wicked: and he giveth judgment to the poor.
He shall deliver the poor out of his distress, and shall open his ear in affliction.
From the wicked their light shall be taken away: and the high arm shall be broken.
