I was cast upon thee from the womb. From my mother's womb thou art my God,

Take counsel together, and it shall be defeated: speak a word, and it shall not be done: because God is with us.

There is no wisdom, there is no prudence, there is no counsel against the Lord.

For I said: Lest at any time my enemies rejoice over me: and whilst my feet are moved, they speak great things against me.

Against Edom. Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Is wisdom no more in Theman? Counsel is perished from her children: their wisdom is become unprofitable.
