But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.

Blessed are ye that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for you shall laugh.

And all the trees of the country shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree and exalted the low tree: and have dried up the green tree and have caused the dry tree to flourish. I, the Lord, have spoken and have done it.

At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob:

His dwelling is above, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He shall cast out the enemy from before thee, and shall say: Be thou brought to nought.

But let the brother of low condition glory in his exaltation:

They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy hath regenerated us unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

For he that hath been humbled, shall be in glory: and he that shall bow down his eyes, he shall be saved.

He will not take away his eyes from the just; and he placeth kings on the throne for ever: and they are exalted.

Insomuch, that if thy former things were small, thy latter things would be multiplied exceedingly.
