Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and thou wilt bring me into dust again.

And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth, and breathed into his face the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Behold, God hath made me as well as thee, and of the same clay I also was formed.

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency may be of the power of God, and not of us.

I have not hid thy justice within my heart: I have declared thy truth and thy salvation. I have not concealed thy mercy and thy truth from a great council.

Who am to be consumed as rottenness, and as a garment that is moth-eaten.

Your remembrance shall be compared to ashes: and your necks shall be brought to clay.

For all flesh is as grass; and all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen away.

For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.

And the dust return into its earth, from whence it was, and the spirit return to God, who gave it.

Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.

Who were taken away before their time: and a flood hath overthrown their foundation.

Who cometh forth like a flower, and is destroyed, and fleeth as a shadow, and never continueth in the same state.

How much less man that is rottenness, and the son of man who is a worm?
