The kite in the air hath known her time: the turtle and the swallow and the stork have observed the time of their coming: but my people have not known the judgment of the Lord.

The flowers have appeared in our land, the time of pruning is come: the voice of the turtle is heard in our land:

And the ostrich, and the owl, and the larus, and the hawk according to its kind:

After these things are duly celebrated, he shall offer the calf: and praying for himself and for his own house, he shall immolate it:

When he heareth the trumpet he saith: Ha, ha. He smelleth the battle afar off, the encouraging of the captains, and the shouting of the army.
