God doth not cast away the mighty, whereas he himself also is mighty.
He that maketh the earth by his power, that prepareth the world by his wisdom and stretcheth out the heavens by his knowledge:
Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.
Great in counsel and incomprehensible in thought: whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the children of Adam to render unto every one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his devices.
We cannot find him worthily. He is great in strength, and in judgment, and in justice: and he is ineffable.
If I have despised to abide judgment with my man-servant, or my maid-servant, when they had any controversy against me:
Doth it seem good to thee that thou shouldst calumniate me, and oppress me, the work of thy own hands, and help the counsel of the wicked?
If strength be demanded, he is most strong: if equity of judgment, no man dare bear witness for me.
What am I then, that I should answer him, and have words with him?
Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name:
Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.
But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children's children,
