For the ear trieth words, and the mouth discerneth meats by the taste.
Doth not the ear discern words, and the palate of him that eateth, the taste?
But the spiritual man judgeth all things; and he himself is judged of no man.
But strong meat is for the perfect; for them who by custom have their senses exercised to the discerning of good and evil.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth: let my tongue speak within my jaws.
(For I have not given my mouth to sin, by wishing a curse to his soul).
And you shall not find iniquity in my tongue: neither shall folly sound in my mouth.
Hear ye, wise men, my words, and ye learned, hearken to me:
Let us choose to us judgment: and let us see among ourselves what is the best.
