My lips shall not speak iniquity, neither shall my tongue contrive lying.

There is gold, and a multitude of jewels: but the lips of knowledge are a precious vessel.

The lips of the wise shall disperse knowledge: the heart of fools shall be unlike.

The tongue of the wise adorneth knowledge: but the mouth of fools bubbleth out folly.

Who is this that wrappeth up sentences in unskillful words?

Will a wise man answer as if he were speaking in the wind, and fill his stomach with burning heat?

However finish what you have begun: give ear, and see whether I lie.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth: let my tongue speak within my jaws.

I will not accept the person of man: and I will not level God with man.

For I know not how long I shall continue, and whether after a while my Maker may take me away.

I will give you a good gift, forsake not my law.
