They were afraid, and answered no more: and they left off speaking.
And no man was able to answer him a word; neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
But the Pharisees hearing that he had silenced the Sadducees, came together:
In like manner the second, and the third, and so on to the seventh.
And hearing this they wondered, and leaving him, went their ways.
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
To my words they durst add nothing: and my speech dropped upon them.
He hath spoken nothing to me: and I will not answer him according to your words.
Therefore because I have waited, and they have not spoken: they stood, and answered no more:
