By reason of the misery of the needy and the groans of the poor, now will I arise, saith the Lord. I win set him in safety; I will deal confidently in his regard.

But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them: thou shalt bring all the nations to nothing.

They shall be as chaff before the face of the wind, and as ashes which the whirlwind scattereth.

Nor shall he return my more into his house: neither shall his place know him any more.

And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.

Because he shall make a separation between brothers: s the Lord will bring a burning wind that shall rise from the desert, and it shall dry up his springs, and shall make his fountain desolate, and he shall carry off the treasure of every desirable vessel.

As a burning wind will I scatter them before the enemy. I will shew them the back and not the face, in the day of their destruction.

He shall drive him out of light into darkness, and shall remove him out of the world.

As a dream that fleeth away he shall not be found: he shall pass as a vision of the night:

Thou hast lifted me up, and set me as it were upon the wind: and thou hast mightily dashed me.

He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
