But I am the Lord thy God, who trouble the sea, and the waves thereof swell. The Lord of hosts is my name.

Thus saith the Lord, who giveth the sun for the light of the day, the order of the moon and of the stars for the light of the night: who stirreth up the sea, and the waves thereof roar. The Lord of hosts is his name.

Arise, arise, put on strength, O thou arm of the Lord: arise as in the days of old, in the ancient generations. Hast not thou struck the proud one, and wounded the dragon?

With him is wisdom and strength: he hath counsel and understanding.

God, whose wrath no mall can resist, and under whom they stoop that bear up the world.

But he giveth greater grace. Wherefore he saith: God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Because the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and highminded, and upon every one that is arrogant: and he shall be humbled.

What profit is there in my blood, whilst I go down to corruption? Shall dust confess to thee, or declare thy truth?

The pillars of heaven tremble and dread at his beck.
