He hath pulled down the strong by his might: and when he standeth up, he shall not trust to his life.

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication; and they who inhabit the earth, have been made drunk with the whine of her whoredom.

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength. Who hath resisted him, and hath had peace?

He leadeth away priests without glory, and overthroweth nobles.

They that come after him shall be astonished at his day: and horror shall fall upon them that went before.
