I would set judgment before him, and would fill my mouth with complaints:
If I shall be judged, I know that I shall be found just.
Put me in remembrance, and let us plead together: tell if thou hast any thing to justify thyself.
Unto the end, for the sons of Core, to give understanding.
But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.
Shew us what we may say to him: for we are wrapped up in darkness.
Thou didst say that thou wouldst do well by me, and multiply my seed like the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for the multitude.
But yet I will speak to the Almighty: and I desire to reason with God.
Who will grant me that I might know and find him, and come even to his throne?
That I might know the words that he would answer me, and understand what he would say to me.
Gird up thy loins like a man. I will ask thee, and do thou tell me.
