I think not. So you also, when you shall have done all these things that are commanded you, say: We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which we ought to do.

Let my judgment come forth from thy countenance: let thy eyes behold the things that are equitable.

Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what doth it profit us if we pray to him?

And if thy right eye scandalize thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee. For it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than that thy whole body be cast into hell.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be so to thyself: and if a scorner, thou alone shalt bear the evil.

And keep the commandments of the Lord, and his ceremonies, which I command thee this day, that it may be well with thee?

Neither is he served with men's hands, as though he needed any thing; seeing it is he who giveth to all life, and breath, and all things:

What is a man that thou shouldst magnify him? Or why dost thou set thy heart upon him?

Then Eliphaz the Themanite answered, and said:

What doth it profit God if thou be just? Or what dost thou give him if thy way be unspotted?
