Before his days be full he shall perish: and his hands shall wither away.

And spared not the original world, but preserved Noe, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.

In the six hundreth year of the life of Noe, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the flood gates of heaven were opened:

Be not over just: and be not more wise than is necessary, lest thou become stupid.

Waters wear away the stones: and with inundation the ground by little and little is washed away. So in like manner thou shalt destroy man.

How much more shall they that dwell in houses of clay, who have an earthly foundation, be consumed as with the moth?

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment they go down to hell.

They shall be as chaff before the face of the wind, and as ashes which the whirlwind scattereth.

He is light upon the face of the water. Cursed be his portion on the earth. Let him not walk by the way of the vineyards.

His truth shall compass thee with a shield: thou shalt not be afraid of the terror of the night.

The fear of the Lord shall prolong days: and the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Behold, the Lord is mighty and strong, as a storm of hail: a destroying whirlwind, as the violence of many waters overflowing, and sent forth upon a spacious land.

Their soul shall die in a storm, and their life among the effeminate.
