For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that we may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

And the angels who kept not their principality, but forsook their own habitation, he hath reserved under darkness in everlasting chains, unto the judgment of the great day.

Behold, among his saints none is unchangeable: and the heavens are not pure in his sight.

Behold, they that serve him are not steadfast: and in his angels he found wickedness:

For what is it to him what befalleth his house after him: and if the number of his months be diminished by one half?

Who can search out his ways? Or who can say to him: Thou has wrought iniquity?

Gird up thy loins like a man. I will ask thee, and answer thou me.

For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord and hath seen and heard his word? Who hath considered his word and heard it?
