And the light of the lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for all nations have been deceived by thy enchantments.

How often shall the lamp of the wicked be put out, and a deluge come upon them: and he shall distribute the sorrows of his wrath?

They shall grope as in the dark, and not in the light: and he shall make them stagger like men that are drunk.

Let his confidence be rooted out of his tabernacle: and let destruction tread upon him like a king.

When his lamp shined over my head: and I walked by his light in darkness?

The way of the wicked is darksome: they know not where they fall.

For evil men have no hope of things to come, and the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

And I will cover the heavens, when thou shalt be put out, and I will make the stars thereof dark: I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

He shall not be enriched; neither shall his substance continue; neither shall he push his root in the earth.

Haughtiness of the eyes is the enlarging of the heart: the lamp of the wicked is sin.
