My eye is dim through indignation: and my limbs are brought as it were to nothing.
I have sowed sackcloth upon my skin, and have covered my flesh with ashes.
I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.
Therefore is our heart sorrowful: therefore are our eyes become dim.
But now my sorrow hath oppressed me: and all my limbs are brought to nothing.
For, behold, my witness is in heaven: and he that knoweth my conscience is on high.
My flesh is clothed with rottenness and the filth of dust: my skin is withered and drawn together.
My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.
