Wisdom hath strengthened the wise more than ten princes of the city.

Who can make him clean that is conceived of unclean seed? Is it not thou who only art?

Who can say: My heart is clean, I am pure from sin?

For I know that there dwelleth not in me, that is to say, in my flesh, that which is good. For to will, is present with me; but to accomplish that which is good, I find not.

Why doth thy spirit swell against God, to utter such words out of thy mouth?

Man, born of a woman, living for a short time, is filled with many miseries.

He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:

My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.
