So man when he is fallen asleep shall not rise again; till the heavens be broken, he shall not awake, nor rise up out of his sleep.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more.

For now I should have been asleep and still; and should have rest in my sleep:

And I saw a great white throne, and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.

But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of the ungodly men.

Wherefore he saith: Rise thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead: and Christ shall enlighten thee.

Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.

Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former things shall not be in remembrance, and they shall not come upon the heart.

Lift up your eyes to heaven, and look down to the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish like smoke, and the earth shall be worn away like a garment, and the inhabitants thereof shall perish in like manner. But my salvation shall be for ever: and my justice shall not fail.

Thy dead men shall live, my slain shall rise again. Awake, and give praise, ye that dwell in the dust. For thy dew is the dew of the light: and the land of the giants thou shalt pull down into ruin.

I know that thou wilt deliver me to death, where a house is appointed for every one that liveth.

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make to stand before me, saith the Lord: so shall your seed stand, and your name.

And they shall fear high things, and they shall be afraid in the way, the almond tree shall flourish, the locust shall be made fat, and the caper tree shall be destroyed: because man shall go into the house of his eternity, and the mourners shall go round about in the street.

Why dost thou not remove my sin, and why dost thou not take away my iniquity? Behold, now I shall sleep in the dust: and if thou seek me in the morning I shall not be.

His truth shall compass thee with a shield: thou shalt not be afraid of the terror of the night.

As a cloud is consumed, and passeth away: so he that shall go down to hell shall not come up.

If a man live many years, and have rejoiced in them all, he must remember the darksome time, and the many days: which when they shall come, the things past shall be accused of vanity.
