Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.

Then I said: I will not make mention of him nor speak any more in his name. And there came in my heart as a burning fire, shut up in my bones: and I was wearied, not being able to bear it.

But if thou hast any thing to say, answer me. Speak: for I would have thee to appear just.

But you have set yourselves up against me, and reprove me with my reproaches.

Hold your peace a little while, that I may speak whatsoever my mind shall suggest to me.

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me wholly round about. And dost thou thus cast me down headlong on a sudden?

Wherefore I will not spare my month, I will speak in the affliction of my spirit: I will talk with the bitterness of my soul.

Why dost thou not remove my sin, and why dost thou not take away my iniquity? Behold, now I shall sleep in the dust: and if thou seek me in the morning I shall not be.

If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one for a thousand.

Two things only do not to me, and then from thy face I shall not be hid.

Behold the Lord God is my helper: who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they shall all be destroyed as a garment: the moth shall eat them up.
