Destroy the sower out of Babylon and him that holdeth the sickle in the time of harvest. For fear of the sword of the dove every man shall return to his people and every one shall flee to his own land.

And they shall be as a doe fleeing away, and as a sheep: and there shall be none to gather them together. Every man shall turn to his own people, and every one shall flee to his own land.

We would have cured Babylon, but she is not healed: let us forsake her and let us go every man to his own land: because her judgment hath reached even to the heavens and is lifted up to the clouds.

He hath multiplied them that fall, and one hath fallen upon another. And they shall say: Arise, and let us return to our own people and to the land our nativity, from the sword of the dove.

The husbandmen are ashamed, the vinedressers have howled for the wheat, and for the barley, because the harvest of the field is perished.

Therefore thus saith the Lord the God of hosts the sovereign Lord: In every street there shall be wailing: and in all places that are without, they shall say: Alas, alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful in lamentation to lament.

And with thee I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock, and with thee I will break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen, and with thee I will break in pieces captains and rulers.

He has forsaken his covert as the lion, for the land is laid waste: because of the wrath of the [dove] and because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
