The Lord hath given me a learned tongue, that I should know how to uphold by word him that is weary. He wakeneth in the morning: in the morning he wakeneth my ear, that I may hear him as a master.
And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm: as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.
And they shall come and shall give praise in mount Sion: and they shall flow together to the good things of the Lord, for the corn and wine and oil and the increase of cattle and herds. And their soul shall be as a watered garden: and they shall be hungry no more.
I will feed them in the most fruitful pastures, and their pastures shall be in the high mountains of Israel: there shall they rest on the green grass, and be fed in fat pastures upon the mountains of Israel.
The needy and the poor seek for waters, and there are none: their tongue hath been dry with thirst. I the Lord will hear them. I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
