And he made Eliakim his brother king in his stead, over Juda and Jerusalem: and he turned his name to Joakim. But he took Joachaz with him, and carried him away into Egypt.

Joakim was five and twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And he did evil before the Lord his God.

Woe to you that join house to house and lay field to field, even to the end of the place: shall you alone dwell in the midst of the earth?

As the partridge hath hatched eggs which she did not lay: so is he that hath gathered riches, and not by right. In the midst of his days he shall leave them: and in his latter end he shall be a fool.

And when thou sendest him out free, thou shalt not let him go away empty.

If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, and have afflicted the soul of the tillers thereof:

Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and prepareth a city by iniquity.
