For where envying and contention is, there is inconstancy, and every evil work.

Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up;

Let nothing be done through contention, neither by vain glory: but in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:

For, whereas there is among you envying and contention, are you not carnal, and walk according to man?

Let us walk honestly, as in the day: not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and impurities, not in contention and envy:

For I fear lest perhaps when I come I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found by you such as you would not. Lest perhaps contentions, envyings, animosities, dissensions, detractions, whisperings, swellings, seditions, be among you.

Some indeed, even out of envy and contention; but some also for good will preach Christ.

My brethren, if any of you err from the truth, and one convert him:
