Isaiah 66:3

He that sacrificeth an ox is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways: and their soul is delighted in their abominations.

The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.

They that were sanctified and thought themselves clean in the gardens behind the gate within, they that did eat swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse: they shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.

Go and call upon the gods which you have chosen. Let them deliver you in the time of distress.

For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry: and I struck him. I hid my face from thee and was angry: and he went away wandering in his own heart.

All we like sheep have gone astray, every one hath turned aside into his own way: and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

And Aggeus said: If one that is unclean by occasion of a soul touch any of all these things, shall it be defiled? And the priests answered, and said: It shall be defiled.
