For thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will bring upon her as it were a river of peace, and as an overflowing torrent the glory of the Gentiles, which you shall suck; you shall be carried at the breasts, end upon the knees they shall caress you.

And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles: and thou shalt be nursed with the breasts of kings. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

Thus saith the Lord: The labour of Egypt and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and of Sabaim men of stature shall come over to thee and shall be thine. His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace. He shall sit upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom: to establish it and strengthen it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth and for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace.

The old error is passed away, thou wilt keep peace: peace, because we have hoped in thee.

Because only there our Lord is magnificent: a place of rivers, very broad and spacious streams. No ship with oars shall pass by it: neither shall the great galley pass through it.

All thy children shall be taught of the Lord: and great shall be the peace of thy children.

And they from the west shall fear the name of the Lord: and they from the rising of the sun, his glory: when he shall come as a violent stream which the spirit of the Lord driveth on:

Behold, I will close their wounds and give them health, and I will cure them: and I will reveal to them the prayer of peace and truth.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

And the people shall take them and bring them into their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids. And they shall make them captives that had taken them: and shall subdue their oppressors.
