Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have sacrificed upon the mountains and have reproached me upon the hills; and I will measure back their first work in their bosom.

Upon a high and lofty mountain thou hast laid thy bed and hast gone up thither to offer victims.

As unto revenge, as it were to repay wrath to his adversaries and a reward to his enemies: he will repay the like to the islands.

Moreover he built also high places in the cities of Juda: and he made the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and Juda to transgress.

And I will repay first their double iniquities and their sins: because they have defiled my land with the carcasses of their idols, and they have filled my inheritance with their abominations.
