I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul shall be joyful in my God. For he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation and with the robe of justice he hath covered me: as a bridegroom decked with a crown and as a bride adorned with her jewels.

And now they that are redeemed by the Lord, shall return, and shall come into Sion singing praises: and joy everlasting shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness: sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Now, therefore, arise, O Lord God, into thy resting-place, thou and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, put on salvation, and thy saints rejoice in good things.

Whom having not seen, you love: in whom also now, though you see him not, you believe: and believing shall rejoice with joy unspeakable and glorified;

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh in its concupiscences.

Even the justice of God, by faith of Jesus Christ, unto all and upon all them that believe in him: for there is no distinction:

But I will rejoice in the Lord: and I will joy in God my Jesus.

My heart hath rejoiced in the Lord, and my horn is exalted in my God: my mouth is enlarged over my enemies, because I have joyed in thy salvation.

And they shall say in that day: Lo, this is our God: we have waited for him, and he will save us. This is the Lord: we have patiently waited for him, we shall rejoice and be joyful in his salvation.

Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them. And thou shalt rejoice in the Lord: in the Holy One of Israel thou shalt be joyful.

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments: thy peace had been as a river, and thy justice as the waves of the sea,

And I said: I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength without cause and in vain. Therefore my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.

The Lord therefore will comfort Sion: and will comfort all the ruins thereof. And he will make her desert as a place of pleasure and her wilderness as the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

I will bring them into my holy mount and will make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their holocausts and their victims shall please me upon my altar: for my house shall be called the house of prayer, for all nations.

Then shalt thou be delighted in the Lord, and I will lift thee up above the high places of the earth and will feed thee with the inheritance of Jacob thy father. For the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

But you shall be glad and rejoice for ever in these things which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem, a rejoicing, and the people thereof, joy.

And when the priests shall have entered in, they shall not go out of the holy places into the outward court: but there they shall lay their vestments, wherein they minister, for they are holy: and they shall put on other garments, and so they shall go forth to the people.

And he said: Put a clean mitre upon his head: and they put a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the angel of the Lord stood.
