Thy sun shall go down no more and thy moon shall not decrease. For the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light: and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.

Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed.

And the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and shall come into Sion with praise: and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness: and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

He shall cast death down headlong forever. And the Lord God shall wipe away tears from every face. And the reproach of his people he shall take away from off the whole earth. For the Lord hath spoken it.

But unto you that fear my name, the Sun of justice shall arise, and health in his wings: and you shall go forth, and shall leap like calves of the herd.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days: in the day when the Lord shall bind up the wound of his people and shall heal the stroke of their wound.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that the sun shall go down at midday, and I will make the earth dark in the day of light:

And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it. For the glory of God hath enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

And the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Sion and in Jerusalem, and shall be glorified in the sight of his ancients.

And now they that are redeemed by the Lord, shall return, and shall come into Sion singing praises: and joy everlasting shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness: sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

ARISE, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

To appoint to the mourners of Sion: and to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of grief. And they shall be called in it the mighty ones of justice, the planting of the Lord to glorify him.

And they shall come and shall give praise in mount Sion: and they shall flow together to the good things of the Lord, for the corn and wine and oil and the increase of cattle and herds. And their soul shall be as a watered garden: and they shall be hungry no more.

Convert us, O Lord, to thee, and we shall be converted: renew our days, as from the beginning.

And there shall be one day, which is known to the Lord, not day nor night: and in the time of the evening there shall be light.
