So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.

Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.

Who shew from the beginning the things that shall be at last, and from ancient times the things that as yet are not done, saying: My counsel shall stand, and all my will shall be done.

Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.

If then you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

I have sworn by myself: the word of justice shall go out of my mouth and shall not return:

God is not a man, that he should lie: nor as the son of man, that he should be changed. Hath he said then, and will he not do? Hath he spoken, and will he not fulfil?

The grass is withered and the flower is fallen: but the word of our Lord endureth for ever.

And the Lord was pleased to bruise him in infirmity. If he shall lay down his life for sin, he shall see a long-lived seed: and the will of the Lord shall be prosperous in his hand.

This is my covenant with them, saith the Lord: My spirit that is in thee and my words that I have put in thy mouth shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

The wrath of the Lord shall not return till he execute it and till he accomplish the thought of his heart: in the latter days you shall understand his counsel.

I, the Lord have spoken. It shall come to pass, and I will do it: I will not pass by, nor spare, nor be pacified. I will judge thee according to thy ways and according to thy doings, saith the Lord.

And he shall answer: There is an end. And he shall any to him: Hold thy peace, and mention not the name of the Lord.

And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him: and not one of his words fell to the ground.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: What seest thou, Jeremias? And I said: I see a rod watching.

And the Lord said to me: Thou hast seen well, for I will watch over my word to perform it.

And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying: What seest thou? And I said: I see a boiling caldron, and the face thereof from the face of the north.

And I will bring upon the land all my words that I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book, all that Jeremias hath prophesied against all nations:

But yet my words, and my ordinances, which I gave in charge to my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers, and they returned, and said: As the Lord of hosts thought to do to us according to our ways, and according to our devices, so he hath done to us.
