Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for thou art my servant. I have formed thee: thou art my servant. O Israel, forget me not.

If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?

Let mercy forget him: may worms be his sweetness. Let him be remembered no more, but be broken in pieces as an unfruitful tree.

The sons of Ephraim who bend and shoot with the bow: they have turned back in the day of battle.

What, O my beloved, what, O the beloved of my womb, what, O the beloved of my vows?

HER time is near at hand, and her days shall not be prolonged. For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose out of Israel, and will make them rest upon their own ground. And the stranger shall be joined with them, and shall adhere to the house of Jacob.

For the mountains shall be moved, and the hills shall tremble: but my mercy shall not depart from thee, and the covenant of my peace shall not be moved, said the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

For Israel and Juda have not been forsaken by their God, the Lord of hosts: but their land hath been filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
