In the Lord shall my soul be praised: let the meek hear and rejoice.

He shall not be sad nor troublesome till he set judgment in the earth: and the islands shall wait for his law.

The Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth: and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.

And they sung a new canticle, saying: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; because thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God, in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Give praise, O ye heavens, and rejoice, O earth; ye mountains, give praise with jubilation: because the Lord hath comforted his people and will have mercy on his poor ones.

And they sung as it were a new canticle, before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the ancients; and no man could say the canticle, but those hundred forty-four thousand, who were purchased from the earth.

The Lord shall be terrible upon them, and shall consume all the gods of the earth: and they shall adore him every man from his own place, all the islands of the Gentiles.

Behold, my servants shall rejoice, and you shall be confounded: behold, my servants shall praise for joyfulness of heart, and you shall cry for sorrow of heart and shall howl for grief of spirit.

For, the islands wait for me, and the ships of the sea in the beginning: that I may bring thy sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

My just one is near at hand, my saviour is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people. The islands shall look for me, and shall patiently wait for my arm.

And he said: It is a small thing that thou shouldst be my servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to convert the dregs of Israel. Behold, I have given thee to be the light of the Gentiles, that thou mayst be my salvation even to the farthest part of the earth.

Give praise, O ye heavens, for the Lord hath shewn mercy: shout with joy, ye ends of the earth: Ye mountains, resound with praise, thou, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and Israel shall be glorified.

A psalm for David himself. Sing ye to the Lord anew canticle: because he hath done wonderful things. His right hand hath wrought for him salvation, and his arm is holy.

Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all things that are in them.

Then Moses and the children of Israel sung this canticle to the Lord: and said: Let us sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously magnified: the horse and the rider he hath thrown into the sea.

For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.

Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.

Therefore will my people return here and full days shall be found in them.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand the second time to possess the remnant of his people, which shall be left from the Assyrians, and from Egypt, and from Phetros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Sennaar, and from Emath, and from the islands of the sea.

Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

Come forth out of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, declare it with the voice of joy: make this to be heard, and speak it out even to the ends of the earth. Say: The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.

The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Madian and Epha. All they from Saba shall come, bringing gold and frankincense and shewing forth praise to the Lord.

Behold, the Lord hath made it to be heard in the ends of the earth. Tell the daughter of Sion: Behold, thy Saviour cometh. Behold, his reward is with him and his work before him.
