Silver spread into plates is brought from Tharsis, and gold from Ophaz: the work of the artificer and of the hand of the coppersmith: violet and purple is their clothing: all these things are the work of artificers.

And he restored them to his mother. And she took two hundred pieces of silver and gave them to the silversmith, to make of them a graven and a molten god, which was in the house of Michas.

For itself also is the invention of Israel: a workman made it, and it is no god: for the calf of Samaria shall be turned to spiders' webs.

In that day a man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which he had made for himself to adore, moles and bats.

And slew strong kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.
