And the Lord shall make the glory of his voice to be heard, and shall shew the terror of his arm, in the threatening of wrath and the flame of devouring fire: he shall crush to pieces with whirlwind and hailstones.

And it shall be at an instant suddenly. A visitation shall come from the Lord of hosts in thunder, and with earthquake, and with a great noise of whirlwind and tempest, and with the flame of devouring fire.

And when they were fleeing from the children of Israel, and were in the descent of Beth-horon, the Lord cast down upon them great stones from heaven as far as Azeca. And many more were killed with the hailstones than were slain by the swords of the children of Israel.

And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabba: and it shall devour the houses thereof with shouting in the day of battle, and with a whirlwind in the day of trouble.

And the hail and fire mixed with it drove on together: and it was of so great bigness, as never before was seen in the whole land of Egypt since that nation was founded.

And the Lord troubled them at the sight of Israel: and he slew them with a great slaughter in Gabaon, and pursued them by the way of the ascent to Beth-horon, and cut them off all the way to Azeca and Maceda.

Which I have prepared for the time of the enemy, against the day of battle and war?

And there shall be a tabernacle for a shade in the daytime from the heat; and for a security and covert from the whirlwind and from rain.

Therefore the sovereign Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall send leanness among his fat ones: and under his glory shall be kindled a burning, as it were the burning of a fire.

And the Lord of hosts shall raise up a scourge against him, according to the slaughter of Madian in the rock of Oreb, and his rod over the sea. And he shall lift it up in the way of Egypt.

For thus saith the Lord to me: Like as the lion roareth, and the lion's whelp upon his prey; and when a multitude of shepherds shall come against him, he will not fear at their voice, nor be afraid of their multitude: so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight upon mount Sion and upon the hill thereof.

The Lord hath prepared his holy arm in the sight of all the Gentiles: and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind: to render his wrath in indignation and his rebuke with flames of fire.
