For our glory is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity of heart and sincerity of God, and not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conversed in this world: and more abundantly towards you.
And I will lead the blind into the way which they know not: and in the paths which they were ignorant of I will make them walk. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things have I done to them, and have not forsaken them.
Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.
And a path and a way shall be there, and it shall be called the holy way: the unclean shall not pass over it. And this shall be unto you a straight way, so that fools shall not err therein.
I know, my God, that thou provest hearts, and lovest simplicity. Wherefore I also in the simplicity of my heart have joyfully offered all these things: and I have seen with great joy thy people, which are here present, offer thee their offerings.
The just Lord is in the midst thereof, he will not do iniquity: in the morning, in the morning he will bring his judgment to light, and it shall not be hid: but the wicked man hath not known shame.
For you shall not go out in a tumult: neither shall you make haste by flight. For the Lord will go before you: and the God of Israel will gather you together.
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I will hear him, and I will make him flourish like a green fir tree: from me is thy fruit found.
Therefore the Lord waiteth that be may have mercy on you, and therefore shall he be exalted sparing you: because the Lord is the God of judgment. Blessed are all they that wait for him.
